Pairing black and camel together has always been one of my favorite fall combos. I love the richness of them together, and it’s an easy canvas for adding bold accessories. This Happiness Boutique necklace was the perfect find when it came to styling this look. The chunky cream flowers and intricate metal design is so majorly gorge for fall. And can we talk about this waterfall coat? Instant ♥♥ the minute I saw it!

I have to admit that I am reeeeeally bad about wearing florals in the fall. In my brain, I always lump them in with spring/summer, but as we all know, that’s just not the case anymore. While fall florals are usually darker with edgier prints, I couldn’t pass up this tunic from Impressions. I figure it will be the perfect transition piece to wear now, and it will definitely be making a comeback next Spring too.
 
I have been fighting a nasty cold all week, so it’s been a rough one on this end. There is nothing worse than being sick when it’s still 100 degrees out for some reason. Wish I had time to recover in bed this weekend, but I’m so jam packed – so that’s a no-go for me!

Fall is just around the corner, which means leather, leather, leather! In the past few years I have accumulated quite a few leather skirts and I love pairing them with a simple blouse or an oversized chunky knit. There is just something so “fall” about leather, and I never can get enough…

What better way to get excited for fall than with plaid heels?! Pretty much knew these were going to live in my closet the minute I found them. They also come in green too, but something about the red just made me  ga-ga. I have to say, they are super comfy too.

We are in the middle of a major heat wave this week, but when I shot these pics it was actually very cool and pleasant out. That means I know I’m inching my way closer and closer to scarf season. If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I love my them oversized and comfy, and this one from Asos is one of my favorites. It’s oversized but not heavy, which is perfect for transitioning into this new season. 
 
Do you all have plans for the weekend? We are attending a few fashion shows for Style Week OC, so it’s going to be a busy but fun time! ♥
