FINALLY – it was time over the weekend to break out the heavy coats and beanies. It was the perfect Thanksgiving weather! It’s usually in the 80’s here that day, but we were lucky this year with a string of cold days.
 
This by far, is my all time favorite winter coat. Besides the leather-look sleeves, it has an insanely high collar, which I absolutely adore. Had to add a little neon pop, of course. Who says bright colors are just for summer? 😉

Last weekend the weather was simply gorgeous. A cold rain storm was blowing in (hence the umbrella), so we were racing the clock in order to get these shots done before it hit! Super happy I had my blanket scarf on hand, it was definitely needed that day!
 
Hope you all had a great weekend. I have been sick in bed for the past 3 days with laryngitis, so I’m hoping I’ll be all fixed by Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed!

I’ve never met a cape blazer that I didn’t immediately fall in love with. There is just something about a white cape though, that always makes me do a double take when I spot one. I styled this same cape last summer ( here, which was one of my all time favorite looks of last year!). This time I wanted to take it to the next level for fall, so I added some leather and studs. Go bold or go home, right? 😉

I’ve been waiting a full 12 months to style it, and am pleased to say that I’m just as happy with it as I was a year ago! Throwing it on over some fabulous black pieces, and adding a serious pop of holiday color, makes for the perfect getup for a night on the town (or the grocery store, if you’re just that fancy) 😉

Is anyone else ready for Christmas these days? I’m not sure what it is this year, but I am already listening to Christmas music, and am chomping at the bit to decorate! I’m ready for tinsel, trees and all things red and green! But I digress…
 
These boots are once again making an appearance because I have been pretty much wearing them every day. Luckily we ave been experiencing cooler weather here in the OC, and I have been enjoying up every minute of it.
