OK – so this whole look might be a little too matchy-matchy ( even though when I styled it in my head, that never occurred to me…). But you won’t find any apologies here, because summer is upon us and that means bright, happy colors are always in order! I love the pom pom detailing on this cover-up, and of course anything with neon tassels is always coming home with me! I like to scoop up a new beach bag once summer hits, and Target has some super cute ones out right now, like this and this.

100 never looked so good!

That’s right – today marks my 100th post! I have to admit, I was just going to let this day kind of slide by, until I really started thinking about what an accomplishment it was. I know of some blogs that don’t make it past one post. Or blogsΒ that I’ve followed in the past year that are there one week, and gone the next…
Β
It can be a demanding and challenging hobby to say the least. I’ve experienced blogger burnout so badly that I thought about quitting that moment because I just felt over it.Β It takes up a lot of time too; from brainstorming what to wear andΒ consistently keeping aΒ weekly posting schedule, to finding different locations, to dealing with all kinds of issues ( the photos are too dark, we can’t get the lighting right, it’s too windy, my hair keeps getting stuck in my lipgloss, forgetting my flash, having writers block..etc..).Β
Β
But when I look at the finished product, and read all of the positive and upliftingΒ comments each week, it makes every challenge worth it! And the truth is, I LOVE doing this, and couldn’t imagine not having itΒ as part of my life anymore! Β So from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for your overwhelming support. It means so much!! xo-β₯β₯β₯

If you’ve followed me for awhile now, you are well aware that I love a dress that makes a serious fashion statement. And since I can’t pass up a giant ruffle on anything…umm…ever…I was toast as soon as I saw this dress. On a side note, I call this clutch “Skittles” because it reminds me of the candy every time I use it. It also made me laugh when I purchased it, because the description of the bag said “vintage item from the 1980’s”. The 80’s are already vintage?! Say it aint so!!

Β Thanks for reading! Have a great week!Β
