With the exception of this past weekend, it’s been in the high 80’s almost 90’s where we live, so my wardrobe has completely skipped over spring and moved straight on to summer. Originally I was obsessed with the yellow version of this romper, but it was sold out in my size so I settled on thisย color option instead.ย Hands down – SO glad I did! The colors totally pop and make my heart so happy. I can already picture this romper on a tropical islandย somewhere…now I just need to find myself on that island too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Whenever I’m down at theย beach, it’s a given – I have to wear stripes. Blameย it on the sailor girl in me, but nothing makes me happier than some good old fashioned blue and white striped anything. So imagine how incredibly happy I was to find these pants! They were perfect for spending the afternoon down on Balboa Island last weekend. It’s one of our favorite spots to visit. There are so many fun shops andย restaurants, not to mention you can hitch a ride on the ferry to the other end of the island, where there is aย ferris wheel, rides, cotton candy and the best darn hot dogs in all of Newport Beach ๐Ÿ™‚

Any fun plans for the weekend? Do tell! Strangelyย enough, we are supposed to get rain thisย weekend (huh?), so it looks like it will be a pretty low keyย one on this end…

See ya later, pastels…and hello neons! We are thiiiiiis much closer to summer, which means all of my brights are coming out the next few weeks in full force.ย Definitelyย not sorry about that one! I’m also not sorry for grabbing this fun little dress last week. It also comes in 2 other colors, and I almost wish I were a bride again, just so I could wear the white version to one of my showers. Guess I could pass that idea along to both of my engaged sisters, right? But I soooo want it for myself ๐Ÿ˜‰
