There could not be a better way to ring in a new year of fashion than with this skirt. I knew I wanted something bold and different to post in this first week of the new year, so it was pure luck when I stumbled upon it. I mean,Β feathers!! They alwaysΒ make a girlΒ feel soΒ feminine and pretty. There must be a job out there where you can feathersΒ every day…a girl can dream, right? π

Hope you all had a great first week of 2016! I’m back to eating healthy again and while it’s hard, I was definitely ready for a junk detox. Waaaay too many Christmas sweets and carbs. But wow, were they good!! -xo

While that sweater and your clutch are elegant and beautiful it is that feather statement maxi skirt that is the stunner of them all. I love it and I love how soft the colors on this outfit are which makes it unexpected for New Year’s Eve. Fantastic look. I have been eyeing the mini version of a skirt like this from Express, but they are pricey. If I could I would buy both the black and the white one. LOL
