When I ordered this scarf initially, I thought it was one of those cute, small neck ties that have been oh-so popular this summer. Surprise! It was a full blown scarf. Not to say I didn’t love it, but I wasΒ definitelyΒ disappointedΒ that it was longer than I had wanted. Lessons learned! Next time I need to read the fine print, and not just click “buy” as soon as I spot something π

Hope you guys have some fun weekend plans! We are headed to see Dave Matthews on Sat night (probably for like, the 20th time), so I’m excited! Don’t forget, youΒ can follow me on Snapchat @Β lipgloss_lace and Instagram @lipgloss_and_lace.

See you next week! XO
Street Chic and HOT!!! You look like you should be dining alfresco and strolling a city in Europe!! I love the scarf even though it is longer as the print is darling and the red bag simply makes me swoon!! My husband and I love Dave Matthews, His concert in Pittsburg was our favorite concert of all time!! Have a ball, you’ll be the most gorgeous girl there!!!
haha! I’m sorry it wasn’t as short as you thought, it still is cute though! Love the black and white look and that pop of red with your Chanel is just fabulous. Have so much fun at Dave Matthews this weekend!
Love your blog, your style is so fresh and I got so much inspirations from your posts, I really love it!

You really pulled this post together so well with the pop of red from your clutch to everything in the background and I just love this b/w outfit, complete with that scarf that should have been a necktie! lol! Thanks for sharing your SnapChat, I just started following you!
I think your scarf still looks great! If you fold it over triangle style then roll it up thin and wrap it a few times around your neck, you may get the look you want (if this makes sense!) I have to do that with some of my oversized silk scarves π Hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your DMB concert!
I hate when that happens but the scarf still looks super cute!! Love this look & the pop of red! Enjoy your weekend:)

Still a cute scarf even if it’s not exactly what you wanted! I’ve always learned to slow down when putting an item in my cart and read everything because I’ve had things like that happen too! Happy Friday!
You look like you’re ready to stroll the streets of Paris in this outfit! Love it! Very chic and fashionable!

Street Chic and a little Parisian. I love it all. Red with black and white is my favorite tri-color trio. Your scarf, bag and sunglasses are awesome.
