Finding jeans for winter – UGH.
Finding shorts for summer – DOUBLE UGH.
The older I get, the more I hate how shorts look on me. I’m not a stick figure, so short shorts look awful, plus I feel too old for those! What I find myself loving are tailored shorts because they look the best on me and I always love the longer length. These shorts come in 2 other colors, and are under $25! And PS – this post is not sponsored at all by H&M – I’m just really loving all of their stuff lately! 🙂
We are on our way home from Cabo, where we have spent the past week on vacation. It was seriously a total dream! The hotel was hands down AH-mazing, and I have officially gained 10 pounds from all of the amazing food (my personal favorite were the chips, guacamole and cocktails they bring to your room everyday at 4PM!).
I’ll be sharing some pics from the trip on my Instagram this week, and my first blog post from Mexico will be on Thursday! Hope to see you then!

Taking a little blogging break this week to enjoy some well needed vacation time! The suitcases are packed, the suntan lotion is ready and in no time I’ll be sipping a margarita by the pool. I’ll be back on Monday with a new post, so I hope to see you then!

What more can I say, except for they are THAT fabulous. And if you’re a blogger…I know y’all have more than 1 in your closet…am I right?! 🙂 I feel as though every few weeks they come out with new colors, yet they always sell out so fast, so you have to act just as fast to grab the one you want. I’m excited to see what colors are headed our way for the#nsale in July. I’m sure I’ll stock up on a few more myself!

Oh how lovely 3-day weekends are…
I hope you’ve been enjoying time with friends & family, and that you’re having some fun in the sun! I spent yesterday in Palm Springs visiting with Rachel from A Blonde’s Moment and her husband Richard, while they were out this way on vacation. I have to say, they are two of my favorite people! This is the second year we’ve had the chance to meet up, and it’s always a fun time with the both of them. I just wish they lived closer!

My original post for today was actually something completely different, but my camera had another idea and gave me total trouble while trying to transfer the pictures to my computer (why can’t it ever just be easy?). So instead, I thought I’d look back on a few of my favorite memories from patriotic posts past. And these are some definite oldies! High five to the old point-and-shoot camera (and brunette hair too!) 🙂

I seem to be on an “off-shoulder, don’t spend over $15” kick, because guess what gals? This top is just like last weeks. In fact; I bought them at the same time not knowing I would be posting them so close together.
Funny story about this top: I think I might be wearing it backwards. When I took it off, I was wearing the tag in the front…because I had just assumed the bow tie would be worn on the front, not the BACK? The website didn’t show it on a model, so I have no idea – but I DO know that Memorial weekend I’ll be wearing it backwards again, so there’s that 🙂
