If you’ve been following this blog for any length of time now, you probably realize that my style is soooo not subtle most of the time š My heart belongs to a good flair jean, an oversized sleeve, a bright neonĀ dress and any kind of over-the-top, ridiculous piece of fauxĀ fur. I was a little hesitant to try the wide legĀ culotteĀ trend (I actually purchased theseĀ last year, but was too scared to ever wear them…ha!). I was worried they may look a little too boxy or make me look 10x my actual size (never a good thing!). Turns out, IĀ absolutelyĀ love them. They are a fun choiceĀ for spring/summer when the weather is warmer and you don’t want to wear a tight pant.
Ā
I appreciate you stopping by! Have a great weekĀ ā„

We are less than 2 weeks away from spring, people…and this girl is definitely ready! Although we had a nice run of warm weather here inĀ February, the temps lately have been chilly and we’ve been hit with a ton of rain. Soooo..the coutdown is on for all things colorful & floral! Nothing saysĀ feminineĀ and beautiful like a soft floral printĀ on your heels. I linked a ton of my favs, because there are so many great options out there right now. Aren’t they just the perfect finishing touch?Ā
Ā
What are your plans for the weekend? Tell me something good! I’ve got my bestie in town, so we are headed out forĀ a little cocktail time together. Thank you for taking the time to stop by, it always means so much ~XO

This is actually my first cashmere piece, and I love it because of howĀ differentĀ it is (and can I mention how crazy soft too?!). You can wearĀ this poncho a few different ways, but I chose the one shoulder version because it was just so nice out when we were shooting this, and I was ready for a little spring weather. Now we are in the middle of a rainstorm, so out come the sweaters again. I actually LOVE the rain, so I’m enjoying the extra days of boots & scarves. But, not gonna lie – those pool days in February were pretty darn nice too š

This was literallyĀ the hardest shootingĀ day we’ve had in a long time. The fog was SO thick, it was freezing, and my hair turned frizzy &Ā flat the second I stepped out of the car. And where did my spray tan go? This was NOTĀ a happy girl! Don’t you just hate when the weather doesn’t cooperate with yourĀ blogging schedule? š
Ā
I love this light weight dusterĀ from Asos. I’ve already worn it a bunch of times, and couldn’t resist styling it with my favorite nautical colors for spring. Now if only it had FELT like spring that day…

Hope you guys have a fun weekend! Thanks for stopping by – xoĀ

When I found outĀ that I was attending the grand opening of Rachel Zoe’s pop up store in LA, the first thoughts running through my head were the following: “I DIE”, “IT’S BA-NA-NAS”, and “OMG, THIS IS SO MAJ”.
Ā
Ā If you know anything about thisĀ fashion icon, then you know thoseĀ are her famous phrases, and all three of them were pretty much runningĀ through my mindĀ as I headed to herĀ store. Over the past few months, I’ve had some pretty incredibleĀ opportunities, thanks to this little blogging world (meeting DVFĀ was my total fashion highlight of last year!). But this was THE Rachel Zoe. The woman who’s career I have followed for the past 15 years, and who isĀ singleĀ handily the reason behind every boho look that I have created in my head and then have worn in real life.
Ā
And I was about to meet her.
Ā
The store itself wasĀ absolutelyĀ gorgeous, and absolutely so Zoe. Lots of open space andĀ natural light, withĀ whites and ivories to make for aĀ relaxedĀ environment. She spent her time styling and chatting amongstĀ the guests. I had my total fan girl moment when I was speakingĀ to her and on a whim decided to show her my blog. OMG! Of course I showedĀ herĀ this post and gushed over how she had been my inspiration not only for a series of posts, but for how I dress in my everydayĀ life as well. She was very gracious and thanked me, and it was at that moment I was hoping we were going to become BFF’s and head out for someĀ margaritas together. But alas – that did not happen, and I headed back home without my new best friend.
Ā
Needless to say, it was a totalĀ bucket list momentĀ for me, and truly a dayĀ that I will never forget (I may or may not have already developed the picture of us, bought a frame for it and hung it in my walk in closet – not sorry!).
Ā
Thank you so much for reading! Wishing you all a wonderful & fashionable week ahead~Ā ā„

Last week I mentionedĀ in thispost that green was a color I never really owned, let aloneĀ wore very often. Well, you can also add periwinkle to that list too, because this color was another first for me! It was too hard to resist. Does this baby blue not scream “spring is coming”?! Ā And now that I’m a tadĀ bitĀ obsessed with all things periwinkle, itĀ has me dreaming of this watch, these earringsand hello fab heels.
Ā
This week has been super hectic, so I am beyond ready for the weekend. Buuuuut unfortunatelyĀ for me, I’ve got a super busy weekend aheadĀ too. FingersĀ crossed I can find some down time in there to play outside for a bit. The weather has been so crazy good lately!
Ā
See you Monday!
