Keeping it short and sweet today, as I’m off to Vegas for my sisters Bachelorette Party!

In case you missed it, I had TWO sisters get engaged TWO weeks apart last December! It’s been a wild ride so far. And randomly, my parents just so happen to be celebrating their 42nd wedding anniversary also in Vegas this weekend, so the 6 of us ( Mom, Dad and their 4 girls) are going to meet up Thursday night to hang as a family before we have to split up for the weekend. If you don’t know by now, we are the closest of families and any time we get to spend together (in Vegas, no less!) is seriously my absolute favorite.

The family that plays together – stays together 🙂

Keeping it simple has never done me wrong.

Cheese pizza. Cookies. Little black dress…just a  few of my favorite things that are best when they aren’t given too much thought. And yes, kind of like this outfit, they are totally fail proof and uncomplicated.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I ADORE this dress. It’s the perfect piece for those summer date nights, and friendly get togethers! Right now it’s 40% off too, which is such a steal for this beauty ♥

Not gonna lie, it feels good to back in black. I know in this post, I mentioned that it was summer, so ’tis the season for color…but what can I say? Old habits die hard. This romper has all the bells and whistles too: pockets, a super comfy fit and a ruffled one shoulder detail! There are just some things a girl can’t say no to 🙂

This top is a total dream for summer – it feels so good on because it’s super light and flowy. The heat has been pretty intense here lately, so this material is just perfect. It originally came in 6 different colors, but now it’s down to three (ugh..hate when that happens…)

You’ve already seen this clutch in this post, but it went perfectly with the top, so I had to bring it out again. I love how many different colored tassels there are because it really does end up going with everything. PS – it also comes in black (I want!!)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I have zero plans, and am really looking forward to it. Last weekend was a busy one, with getting ready for the 4th and meeting my sisters for brunch (where my sister asked me to be Maid Of Honor in her wedding next May! So exciting!!). And did you catch my Instagram pic with my favorite little guy from the 4th? His jersey was a total hit! XO

Well gang, it’s FINALLY here…my most favorite holiday of the year! What are your plans? I hope it consists of some fun in the sun with family & friends. We are hosting our annual 4th of July party, and I have to tell you I love every single second of it! From preparing the food and decorating the house (I swear, Pier 1 should send me a gift basket for all the business I give them this time of year), it ALL makes my heart SO happy. I have always had a deep love for this amazing country, and given any reason to celebrate it, I’m there!
