Since summer is quickly coming to a close (how is that even possible?), I’m doing my best to find items that I can transition into fall, because it will be here before you know it.

Here in Southern CA it stays in the 80’s and 90’s all through September, so we will still be in full-on shorts mode over here for the next few weeks. I love a good romper and can already picture this one come fall with a moto jacket styled over it.

Is there anything better than a big, flowy dress to take on the heat of summer?

I’ve been crushing on caftans, tunics and gauzy dresses from H&M all summer long. I knew I had to add this dress to my closet because of those big bold stripes and how easy breezy the material was. Now I only wish I would have grabbed it in the red version too before it sold out in my size. Boo!

You might be thinking that a cut-out dress is undoubtedlyΒ going to be revealing.

However, there are so many different types and variations of dresses with cut-outs!

Personally, I don’t like to wear anything too revealing, however I do like to play with a little peek-a-boo here and there. The side slits on this dress were perfect for me because it was just the right amount.

I’m not usually an eyelet lace kinda gal, but when done right – it’s so, so GOOD.

Eyelet always reminds me of vacation, and what could be more of a vacation look than this dress?

I haven’t been to Greece yet, but I can tell you this much: if I ever book that trip, this dress is the first thing I’m packing! πŸ˜‰
