Over-the-knee boots are hands down my favorite footwear for fall. They are the one item I probably couldn’t live without! I couldn’t believe the price point of these boots from Forever 21. I know how expensive a good pair can be, so I consider myself lucky that I stumbled upon the perfect pair for a crazy perfect price (and they come in 3 colors!).
It was such a sweltering weekend here in Orange County. I’m talking temps in the 100’s. I literally stayed inside all weekend because I just couldn’t deal with the heat! Ugh…come on fall weather…

I’ve had these boots and vest forever, yet I still bring them out every fall because I love them so much. This time around, I’m sprucing up the look with one of my Lush tops (because I told you, I DID indeed get every color Nordstrom offered). If you’re still on the fence about getting one of those tunics, TRUST ME – you’ll love them. So don’t wait!

I’m a super fan of wearing black all year long. It’s the color I always gravitate towards no matter what the season. But this fall, my goal is to incorporate more greys in that rotation (because let’s be honest – no way am I willing to give up black all together). Grey is really trending right now and I think it’s the perfect soft touch of color that can easily turn your fall fashion into chic & modern looks.

Although it’s still too warm here to wear a leather sleeve coat, that doesn’t stop me from adding additional pieces to my closet, so that I have them on hand when the time is right! Hands down, it is easily one of my favorite coat silhouettes. They can instantly transform your outerwear from uptown chic to downtown cool, just like that. The leather look sleeves really give the classic wardrobe staple a tough-girl twist. A few of my other leather look fav’s are this wine colored coat, this zipper coat, and this bodycon dress.

Pairing black and camel together has always been one of my favorite fall combos. I love the richness of them together, and it’s an easy canvas for adding bold accessories. I have to admit that I am reeeeeally bad about wearing florals in the fall. In my brain, I always lump them in with spring/summer, but as we all know, that’s just not the case anymore. While fall florals are usually darker with edgier prints, I couldn’t pass up this tunic from Impressions. I figure it will be the perfect transition piece to wear now, and it will definitely be making a comeback next Spring too.
I have been fighting a nasty cold all week, so it’s been a rough one on this end. There is nothing worse than being sick when it’s still 100 degrees out for some reason. Wish I had time to recover in bed this weekend, but I’m so jam packed – so that’s a no-go for me!
