Fall is just around the corner, which means leather, leather, leather! In the past few years I have accumulated quite a few leather skirts and I love pairing them with a simple blouse or an oversized chunky knit. There is just something so “fall” about leather, and I never can get enough…

What better way to get excited for fall than with plaid heels?! Pretty much knew these were going to live in my closet the minute I found them. They also come in green too, but something about the red just made me  ga-ga. I have to say, they are super comfy too.

We are in the middle of a major heat wave this week, but when I shot these pics it was actually very cool and pleasant out. That means I know I’m inching my way closer and closer to scarf season. If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I love my them oversized and comfy, and this one from Asos is one of my favorites. It’s oversized but not heavy, which is perfect for transitioning into this new season. 
 
Do you all have plans for the weekend? We are attending a few fashion shows for Style Week OC, so it’s going to be a busy but fun time! ♥

Oh Summer, I can’t believe you’re already over. I have to say I’ll miss:

For my parents 40th Anniversary celebration, I was so torn between wearing this dress and basically anything black. Surprise, surprise – I ended up choosing a black dress 🙂 I don’t own anything purple, so this dress really made me step outside of my comfort zone. I love the high slit in the front. Small details like that really make a simple dress stand out.
