Poncho: Nordstrom Rack | Turtleneck Sweater: old | Leggings: Target | Boots: Forever 21 | Beanie: old (similar) | Glasses: Quay | Bag: Chanel
Poncho. Leggings. Boots. Beanie.
The basics that we all live in come fall/winter, right? But just because they’re basic, doesn’t mean they have to be boring!Β
For example:
Poncho – but choose one with fur β
Leggings – but choose a pair with a leather look β
Boots – but don’t spend a lot (mine are Forever 21!) β
Beanie – but find one with a fun knit βΒ
See how simple it is?Β How do you transform your basics?
Thanks for stopping by! XO

Trench Coat: Nordstrom | Top: Express | Boots: Forever 21 | Glasses: Quay | Bag: Chanel
It finally cooled down enough to bring out my new trench – YAY.
This coat was my only purchase from this years Nordstrom sale. I really didn’t need anything new, but couldn’t pass it up. The patent leather was calling my name!
Hope you guys have a great Monday! I’m definitely ready to start a new week after the chaos of last weeks fires and having to evacuate. An ordeal I would not like to repeat again, that’s for sure. Thankful for my parents, who let us stay with them for those few days, and of course to the firemen that helped save our house.
2020, what a year…

Whether you’re staying home, or taking the littles trick-or-treating (in a safe way), wishing you all a super spooky Halloween!
While it’s definitely going to be different this year, it’s still such a fun night, no matter what your age.
So stay safe and enjoy some candy!
Happy Halloween!

I’ve always loved decorating for Halloween. I’m sure it comes from growing up in a home where my Mom decorated beautifully for every holiday, Halloween included. The inside always had fun & spooky pieces sprinkled around the house. My parents would throw the best costume party for all of our friends and family, and my Dad would turn our garage into a haunted house for the neighborhood kids to walk through.
We were THE Halloween house!
So it’s no surprise that it rubbed off on me.
Now I’m the house that gives out full-sized candy bars, hosts a costume party, and always wants to celebrate & decorate all month long. Even though our Halloween party was cancelled this year, I knew I was still going to decorate no matter what, because it truly brings me SO much joy.Β
Thanks for reading and taking a home tour with me!
